Flexible Homeworking – Greeting Card Packing Assistant (Clevedon)
Ricicle Cards is a small, independent greeting card publisher based in Clevedon, and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to help prepare our cards ready for retail.
This is a flexible, homeworking role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical, repetitive work and needs something that fits around other commitments.
The Role
The work involves preparing greeting cards for sale, including:

Folding cards

Pairing cards with envelopes

Placing cards into cello wraps and sealing them

Banding cards into packs of 6
All materials (cards, envelopes, cello wraps, bands and stickers) are supplied by Ricicle Cards.
Location & Practical Requirements

You must be local to Clevedon, as cards and materials will need to be collected and dropped off

You’ll need a suitable, clean, smoke-free, dry space at home to store cards and materials safely.

Good attention to detail is essential to ensure cards are packed neatly and consistently

A car is helpful but not essential, provided you can reliably collect and return materials locally
Hours & Pay

Work is ad hoc, depending on how busy things are and when orders come in

There are no guaranteed hours

Pay is 4.5p (£) per card packed, including the banding into 6's

Payment is made weekly by BACS

A spreadsheet report is provided each week showing the number of cards completed
Contract & Eligibility

You must be over the age of 18

Work is offered on a freelance, self-employed basis

There is no formal contract and no guarantee of ongoing work

You must be registered to work in the UK and able to provide proof of right to work before starting - a driving licence or passport is fine
